Who we are

PrintRight and getprintright.com are provided by BCLogic (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].

Using the app

PrintRight is a free app for arranging photos, text and drawings on a page and printing or exporting it. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s rules. The licence also follows Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app from the App Store. Where these terms and Apple’s agreement differ, Apple’s agreement wins for anything between you and Apple.

You may not copy, modify, sell or redistribute the app, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows it regardless of what we say here.

Your content

Your photos, text and pages belong to you. We don’t get any rights to them, and the app doesn’t send them to us. You are responsible for having the right to use, print and share the photos you put on a page, especially pictures of other people or work made by someone else.

Fair use

Please don’t use PrintRight to make or print anything illegal, such as counterfeit documents, currency or official IDs, or material that infringes someone else’s rights. The app will happily print a birthday card for your dog. It is not a tool for forging a passport.

Printing results

PrintRight sends pages to your printer at their real size, and we work hard to make that reliable. What finally lands on paper still depends on your printer, its driver, its settings, the paper and the ink. Check an important print on plain paper before using the expensive stuff. We aren’t responsible for paper, ink or photo paper used on prints that didn’t come out the way you wanted.

Third parties

The app relies on Apple features such as AirPrint, the photo picker, Files and on-device image analysis, which Apple provides under its own terms. PrintRight includes fonts released under the SIL Open Font License and icons from Bootstrap Icons under the MIT License; their licences continue to apply to those parts, and the app lists them under Settings, About. Links on this website to other sites are provided for convenience, and we aren’t responsible for what those sites contain.

Warranty

PrintRight is provided “as is” and “as available”. We fix bugs as fast as we reasonably can, but to the extent the law allows, we don’t promise that the app will be free of errors, work with every printer ever made, or be available without interruption. If the app fails to conform to a warranty that applies by law, you may tell Apple, and Apple’s own terms describe what happens next; as the app is free, no purchase price is refunded.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or wasted materials arising from using PrintRight. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Keep your own copies of photos that matter. PrintRight keeps copies of the photos you add, but your phone’s photo library or a backup is where they belong.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and nothing here takes that away. Courts competent under that law will decide disputes, unless the law says you may use the courts where you live.

We may update these terms when the app or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we’ll say so on this site before it takes effect. Continuing to use PrintRight after that means you accept the new terms.
